Professional Background

​

I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees from the well respected California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles, California's largest and oldest graduate program for psychologists.  I have been a licensed clinical psychologist in California since 1999.  In private practice, I have helped both women and men make positive changes in their lives.

In addition to my experience as a psychotherapist, I have worked in a few other professions, including:

 

• Management consulting, focusing on change management and organizational development, for Deloitte Consulting, where I helped companies understand the impact change would have on their workforce.  In this role, I worked with people at all levels, from administrative personnel to high-level executives.

• MBA career services for the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, where I helped MBA students determine their career path, then develop and implement their job search strategies.  I also developed strong relationships with companies who recruited MBA students.

• Recruiting for the Los Angeles office of Debevoise & Plimpton, a large, prestigious New York based law firm, where I worked closely with the firm's partners to recruit and hire lawyers.
